Try this before buying
Measure a towel at home that gives you enough coverage. Fold it to match the candidate's listed dimensions and hold it up. Separately check the packed footprint against your wash kit.
The trade-off to consider
A larger or thicker towel may feel more familiar but occupy more luggage space. A compact option also needs a realistic place to dry between uses.
Start with what you own
For car camping, a towel you already own may be a better starting point if luggage volume is not the limiting factor.
