Aeros Ultralight Pillow

A pillow should be judged as part of your sleep setup. Packed size, surface feel, height, and usable width all deserve attention before choosing between inflatable and filled designs.

BUYING NOTES · OCTOBER 13, 2026

What the documentation tells us

Sea to Summit's Aeros guide describes adjustment valves and its PillowLock attachment approach. The guide covers older generations as well, so use the current model page for exact specifications and confirm compatibility with your own mat.

Try this before buying

Compare the supported height of your usual pillow with the candidate's shape. If possible, try the pillow on your intended mat. Include a cover or pillowcase in the total packed-size comparison if you plan to use one.

The trade-off to consider

An inflatable design can pack compactly, but its feel differs from a traditional filled pillow. Personal fit cannot be established from an empty-weight figure.

Start with what you own

Car campers with spare luggage space may prefer to start with an existing small pillow before buying a packable one.
